Scope This policy covers narratem.com and any direct correspondence with Narrative Systems (email to narrativesystems@pointtosource.com). Each product we launch will have its own product-specific privacy policy linked from that product's own surface; this corporate policy does not replace those.

Who we are

Narrative Systems is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 17211958. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect on this website

Server-side request logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) keeps short-term request logs for security and reliability. These include the requesting IP address, the URL requested, the time of the request, and the user-agent string. These logs are retained for up to 30 days and are not used to build any profile of individual visitors.

Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare's Web Analytics product to see aggregate site metrics such as pageviews per page, top referrers, country, and device class. Cloudflare derives these from server-side request data; no analytics script runs in your browser, no cookies are set, no fingerprinting is used, and no individual visitor profile is built. We cannot identify individual visitors from this data.

No browser-side trackers, no cookies. We do not embed Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking script on this website. We do not set cookies for any purpose. We do not maintain a user database for visitors to narratem.com.

Search engine indexing. The website is registered with Google Search Console so we can see how our pages appear in Google search results. Search Console does not track individual visitors; it reports only aggregate search and indexing data about the site itself. Search engines may otherwise crawl the site under the conventions advertised in our robots.txt and sitemap.xml.

What we collect when you email us

When you email narrativesystems@pointtosource.com, we receive and store your email address, the contents of your message, and any reply correspondence in our email provider's standard inbox. We use this information to reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of the exchange. We do not add you to any mailing list, share your email with third parties, or use your message contents for any other purpose without your express consent.

Correspondence is retained for as long as it remains commercially or legally relevant (typically up to seven years for tax and audit purposes) after which it is deleted.

Lawful basis

We process the data described above under the lawful bases of legitimate interest (operating and securing the website; responding to enquiries directed at the company) and legal obligation (retaining business correspondence for the period required by HMRC and Companies House).

Your rights

You have the right under UK GDPR to access, correct, erase, or restrict the processing of personal data we hold about you, and the right to object to processing or to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email narrativesystems@pointtosource.com with a clear description of your request. We aim to respond within 30 days.

If you believe we have not handled your data appropriately, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); see ico.org.uk.

Updates to this policy

We will update this policy as the studio grows, as new products launch under separate policies, or as our processing practices change. Material changes will be noted with a fresh "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
